Description

The handy STIHL TSA 230 cordless cut-off machine is ideal for construction workers, roofers, gardeners and landscapers, as well as for a wide range of applications in structural and civil engineering. These include cutting stone, pipes, or iron grates, as well as dismantling bricks, masonry blocks, or reinforcement mats.

With the 230 mm cutting disc of the STIHL TSA 230, cutting depths of up to 70 mm are possible. The ergonomic handle ensures a secure grip and precise guidance while cutting. The brushless EC motor operates almost wear-free, and its electronic control continuously adjusts power and speed to the material being cut.

Thanks to its emission-free operation, the STIHL TSA 230 cordless cut-off machine can also be used indoors, for example in halls or other buildings. It is especially important in these settings to control dust generated during cutting. This is achieved via the integrated water connection to moisten the cutting disc. Alternatively, dust exposure can be reduced with the optional STIHL depth stop, which directs dust through a suction port directly into a connected wet and dry vacuum, such as the STIHL SE 133 ME.

Changing the cutting disc is very simple: just press the spindle lock, loosen the retaining screw with a wrench, and then tighten it again.


All battery-powered devices within the STIHL AP system are designed for professional users and daily use, even under adverse weather conditions. They therefore feature certified splash water protection, with effectiveness demonstrated through rigorous internal testing. The splash water test is based, among other standards, on IPX4.
