The batteries from the STIHL AP System are securely housed in the motor casing at the handle. This ensures that, even during longer work sessions, the lightweight design and well-balanced battery center of gravity along the shaft allow for ergonomic and low-fatigue operation. The ergonomic loop handle with soft surface and the stepless speed control of the FSA 86 R provide additional working comfort. The brushcutter is compatible with three different cutting tools, which can be swapped without tools.
The standard integrated dual-line STIHL AutoCut C 6‑2 cutting head has a cutting circle diameter of 350 mm and can be refilled manually by feeding the line into the housing from the outside. Depending on your needs, you can alternatively use the STIHL PolyCut 6‑2 cutting head with plastic blades or the STIHL DuroCut 5‑2 cutting head with line segments with the FSA 86 R.
